Never – we specialise in non-electric twin cylinder machines because we believe there is no match for reliability and efficiency. The machines come with a 10-year warranty but we often see them live well beyond this. Keeping your softener regularly topped up with block salt is all you need to do! 

You may feel you would like your machine checked over for peace of mind or you may have inherited a water softener in a new home which you would like tested and we are happy to do this for you. 

We do offer service calls if you think there could be a problem with your machine. We will identify the issue and aim to fix there and then wherever possible, thereby keeping your water continually soft.
