It’s important how we store our tea and ideally it should be kept in an airtight container in a dry cool place to best retain flavours and quality. Water hardness, together with chlorine content greatly affects the taste of tea. For the perfect cup, maybe it’s time to consider installing a water filter. Tea also benefits from freshly boiled water since the best flavour is created when the water contains more oxygen, which is reduced by re-boiling the kettle.
