Parallel Flow for Maximum Efficiency.Unlike some other softeners, the TwinTec S3 water softener uses both cylinders at the same time, with one cylinder pausing only to clean itself (regenerate) while the other continues softening. This gives a much better flow rate through the softener and it also means that one cylinder is not left with static water between cycles. The two cylinders in the TwinTec S3 water softener have been engineered to ensure they use the entire resin bed and therefore provide 100% softened water at all times. |

Accurate Advanced Twin Metering.A crucial function of a water softener is to measure exactly how much water passes through it in order to determine when it should clean itself (regenerate). If too much water is allowed to flow through, the resin bed will be exhausted and hard water will enter the house rendering the softener useless. For this reason we do not use turbine meters as they are not accurate enough for low flow rates. The TwinTec S3 water softener uses the same metering technology found in domestic water meters whose readings are used to calculate your water bill, so you can bet they are accurate. The meters in the TwinTec S3 water softener are so reliable that we employ two of them; one to measure the quantity of water passing through the softener and one to ensure that the softener uses the correct amount of water to regenerate - not a drop more. The accuracy of these meters ensures the TwinTec S3 water softener can measure everything from a dripping tap right through to megaflow installations. |

Adjustable Brine Valve.Since different geographical areas can have differing levels of hardness in the water, the TwinTec S3 water softener has been designed for optimum use in every installation. The engineer can adjust the brine valve manually to suit the hardness in your area. This will reduce salt consumption and waste water to save you even more money! |

Advanced Microfine Ion Exchange Resin.Ion exchange resin is at the heart of a water softener. Contained within the two cylinders, it removes the calcium and magnesium ions that are the cause scale and scum in your home. The top picture shows the resin we use inside the TwinTec S3 water softener (10x magnification). Designed by Mitsubishi, it is the highest quality resin available. The resin beads show superb uniformity making them highly efficient due to the large surface area available for ion exchange to occur. The bottom picture shows the resin used in some of our competitors' softeners. It is cheaper and less efficient, which is why we don't use it.And the bottom picture shows the resin used in some of our competitor's softeners. It's cheaper, less efficient and we don't go anywhere near it. |
